April Oh, Hello Done! Goal

Here it is - and posted when I wanted to get it posted! Winner, winner chicken dinner!

It’s been a rough week this week, hasn’t it? But today, the sun came out and I was able to sit outside and enjoy the rays and Vitamin D. I also took some pictures outside. But, let’s get to April’s goal shall we?

In April we will continue on with our “third” goals - this month, the goal is to complete the second third of the project you picked to divide into thirds. And, if you’re like me, catch up with any other goals that are behind. Cough - February I’m looking at you.

So, for April, I plan to piece the quilt top together for my cousin’s quilt. In March, I cut all of the pieces.

I hope this is an easier sew together than the quilt pattern I picked for February - and to hopefully make up for the waste I mentioned in the first review of the pattern.

Let’s get caught up on some other quilty things, shall we? Today, I did go on a little road trip and went to pick up my Aurifil Color Builders kit for March and I am loving the green

Makes me anxious for Christmas - these greens are gorgeous!

I also picked up a little fat quarter bundle for my Alison Glass Mini Series Sew-A-Long that starts the 22nd. It’s another paper pieced sew-a-long, but the blocks are mini (start at 4 inches!). It starts soon and runs through May. More pattern piece experience coming up!

What do you think? How do you like the fabric pull?

I hope everyone is getting through this quarantine and spending some time with their machines and cutting boards. Let me know what you’re working on in the comments and what April projects you have on your plates.
