fabric pull - full reveal

turns out i am just too excited about this summer sampler - i can not wait for the 20th to get here and i can get my greedy hands on that first pattern!

sunday came around as a bright and beautiful day. so, i said “no” to other responsibilities and quilted - finished a quilt top (more on that later) and got some great pictures of my full fabric pull for my summer sampler quilt-a-long.

enjoy!

those squirrels - tula pink sure knows how to make a great quirky fabric! we looked to have a few graphic pieces in each of the sections. like the blue below, the purple was the hardest one for us to match. when we were done, this color section blends together so nicely.

i only pulled the dark green and striped orange pieces here - the rest was all missouri star help! this color block is not something i’d normally put together, but i’m loving how all the colors are working together. we all had to try to minimize the “dots.” everyone helping seems to like the dots.

this blue floral was where i started - it immediately drew my eye and i knew it needed to be in the quilt. the polka dots i’ve used in my alice in wonderland quilt (story later!). the dark blue was one of the harder pieces for us to match, but we finally found the perfect piece!
